The Ocean Hotel is situated in the upper village of Dunmore East, only 2 minutes walk from the harbour and from the Dunmore East Adventure Centre.

It is perfectly situated  close to all amenities, including shops, post office, kids playground and park. It consists of 12 bedrooms of varying sizes to accommodate Doubles / Twins / Family Rooms or Single rooms. All rooms are en-suite,containing televisions and direct dial telephone. We also offer free wireless broadband connection throughout the premises,including bedrooms, bar, restaurant and lounge areas.

The Restaurant
The recently renovated Ocean Restaurant, which can accommodate up to 100 people offers a wide range of options with a special emphasis on Local Seafood. Children are well catered for on both the bar and restaurant menu. We are happy to accommodate small groups or private parties.

The Alfred D. Snow Bar
The Alfred D. Snow bar, also serves  food all day in a very casual bar atmosphere. The Bar itself was named after the ship Alfred D. Snow which floundered off the Coast in 1888 and some of its timbers were used in the construction  of the Bar and still remain there today.

We also participate in Failte Ireland's Family Friendly Initiative and strive to make all our guests, especially children, very welcome.

The Ocean provides a great atmosphere with live music every Saturday night all year round and music on most nights throughout the busy season.

The staff are very friendly and will always be on hand and happy to assist in any way.
